Spend carried Scrap in game on building, electrical, farming, industrial and recovery kits. Prices climb when you buy again, some offers wait for a spend tier, and the counter resets with the monthly map wipe. Physical Scrap out of your inventory, no website wallet.
Fund a bounty on another player with Scrap. The target is told someone is after them. If someone puts a contract on you, you can reflect it back onto the buyer for double the price, flipping the bounty. An unclaimed contract expires without refund.
The Old Bill send a squad after anyone Wanted. A target who is caught, by a player or by them, serves a two-minute sentence in the holding cell, with their belongings left where they died. For 10 minutes after the contract closes nobody else can fund a new one on them, and ordinary PvP still applies.
Respawn on the beach rather than at a bag and a boogie board with a random skin washes up beside you. You wake in a wetsuit, so you can paddle along the shore right away.
Motorbikes, sidecars and pedal bikes keep spawning along roads and trails across the island, and every motorbike gets starter fuel in its tank once. Jump on rather than crossing the map on foot.
Monuments block building. Campfires are the exception, and so are the cheap traps. Look at the ground and type /camp for a fire; hold a snap trap, spike trap, tin can alarm or homemade landmine and type /trap for that. Both are commands because Rust refuses the normal placement on your own machine, before the server is ever asked. Not inside safe zones, where a fire or a trap nobody can destroy would be a griefing tool.
Vanilla building privilege stops at the cupboard's radius, which leaves the outside walls of a large base open to twig. Here, nothing at all goes on a structure that is not yours unless you are authorised on its cupboard.
A structure whose cupboard you are authorised on takes four times the damage from you. Your own walls come down in a reasonable number of swings, a raider who has taken the cupboard can open what is left, and a cleared base can actually be cleared.
The Exchange, contracts and settings are tabs in one panel. Open it with the corner button or by typing /sr, and turn the button off in the settings tab if you would rather not have it on screen.
VIP and VIP+ skip the join queue and carry a cosmetic title in chat and on the panel. Supporter changes nothing in game. No membership adds items, damage, protection or Scrap. /vip shows your tier and when it ends.
Twenty furnished cabins are scattered across the island — unlocked, stocked with loot, ringed with landmines and bear traps, and watched by a bear. Place a Tool Cupboard inside and the cabin is yours. Until then, zero decay keeps it standing.
The Exchange sells a Mining Quarry for 5,000 Scrap and a Pump Jack for 7,500, one of each per player per wipe. Look at open ground inside your own base, where you are authorised on the cupboard, and type /drill. They run on diesel at the rate of the monument ones: stone and metal ore from the quarry, crude oil from the pump jack. They can be raided like the rest of the base, one left without a cupboard for a day is removed, and the map wipe takes them with everything else.
Every fishing village has a recycler and a drone marketplace, and the Ranch and Large Barn stables have a recycler. Every marketplace, Outpost and Bandit Camp included, is kept powered, so buying from vending machines with drone delivery works without anyone fuelling the Power Plant.
The server counts PvP kills, wood, ore, hemp, animals, bounties, Scrap spent and time played for each wipe: /top in game, the LEADERS tab in /sr, and the leaderboards page here. Kills on teammates, sleepers or the same player twice in half an hour do not count. The top three on every board hold a perk: a little more wood, stone and metal ore, cloth from hemp or animal yield from your own gathering (15% at most), faster safe-zone recyclers for time played, and a chat title for PvP, bounties and Scrap spent. Rechecked every ten minutes, cleared at the wipe, and never counted toward the board. Nothing adds Scrap, components, sulfur, weapons or explosives, or helps in a fight.
Hold a top-three place on any board for three days of one wipe and the achievement is yours for good, with the date on it. A toast in the corner when it lands, every one of them in the ACHIEVEMENTS tab of /sr, and on your player page here. A few stay riddles until somebody earns them.
Vote for the server on a public Rust server list, type /claim in game, and once the list confirms the vote a pack of Scrap, Gears, High Quality Metal and a bonus part lands in your inventory. One payment per list per vote, nothing that raids or fights, and none of the Scrap counts toward the Scrap spent leaderboard. /vote lists where to vote.
The server sends kills, contracts placed, claimed, reflected, expired or closed by The Old Bill, Exchange purchases, votes on server lists and holding-cell sentences to the feed below, in small batches. Every batch is signed, so nobody else can post to it.
Reported by the server as it happens. Names are as they were at the time.
No kits, no paid gear, no removal tool, no combat advantages of any kind.
