Rarity is the share of players on record who have an achievement: 1 player so far, the only one who has unlocked any. Players who never placed are not counted.

How they unlock

• Time on a place is sampled every time the server rechecks the leaderboards, every 10 minutes. Every stretch you still hold the place counts, even while you are offline, because the place is still yours.
• Time is added up across one wipe. Losing the place for an evening does not reset it; the map wipe does.
• If the server was down, that time does not count for anybody.
• An unlocked achievement is permanent and carries the date it was earned. Nothing unlocks one by hand.
• The first real player to unlock each achievement on the server is its server first, for good. Staff and the owner unlock achievements like anyone else, but never take that slot.
