Appeal a ban

An appeal is judged against the rules version in force when the ban was issued, and against what the logs show.

Appeals are read by staff

An appeal sent here is stored as a ticket on your Steam account and read by staff in the control panel. Its status appears under My tickets on the support page.

The 17-digit ID, not your display name. A display name is not enough to find a ban.
Copy it exactly as it appeared, even if you disagree with it.
What you believe happened. Disagreeing with the ban is fine; the account has to be honest.

Sign in through Steam with the account that was banned to send an appeal. A ban is on a SteamID, so the appeal has to come from it.
